We saw the seasonal increase in overall home sales in February as compared to January with Single Family home sales jumping 29.82% from January and 11.11% year-over-year. Condominiums rose the most with sales up 52.69% from last month and plus 5.97% as compared to February 2019. The Duplex category sales rose 9.47% from January but were down by -8.77% year-over-year.

Sale prices rose a bit compared to January but are still down year-over-year. We saw the normal increase in the number of new listings as the spring market is starting to come to life, but the overall inventory has declined by -7.86 from one year ago.

What to expect this March? We should see an increase in activity as per the normal spring market but there certainly is a lot on our minds given current events.
