January 2020 Edmonton Area Real Estate Report

We kicked off 2020 with Single Family sales a bit higher than January 2019 while the Condo and Duplex markets were down some. Overall prices compared to a year ago could be considered steady, but a closer look reflects an increase in the Single Family and Duplex categories but down for Condo’s.

It’s too early to draw any conclusions but of note is that the overall residential inventory is down 11.76% from January 2020 while and the average days on market declined to 79 days from 84. This might indicate some increase in demand for quality homes, but time will tell.

As always, make it look good, price it right and the Buyer’s will come.
